Catherine joined GMRI as a LabVenture! Educator in August 2017 where she facilitates 5th and 6th grade experiences in the Cohen Center for Interactive Learning.
She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2013 with a degree in Wildlife Biology and Environmental Studies. Much of her time post-grad found her teaching informal, place-based, and experiential programming over 5+ years in Maine, Vermont, and Wyoming. Concurrently with her work at GMRI she is a graduate student pursuing her Masters of Science in Ecological Teaching and Learning through Lesley University. She is excited to be working with students here at GMRI by highlighting their connections to the world around us.
Catherine spends her free time outside hiking, cross-country skiing and tracking a myriad of wildlife. When she slows down you'll find her drawing many of these creatures she's enamored with.
