Harvest on the Harbor is Maine’s premier food and wine experience located along the Portland waterfront. Organized by the Portland Convention & Visitors Bureau, this four-day event spotlights delectable culinary creations from Maine’s top chefs and producers who take pride in presenting what is locally grown and sustainable. This year GMRI Culinary Partners will be featured at The Grand Tasting and The Big Eats I & II for their commitments to responsibly harvested seafood from the Gulf of Maine.
Partner chefs will prepare various lesser-known and underutilized fish from the region, displaying their flair for creativity and support for healthy oceans. GMRI Sustainable Seafood staff will be present to help educate attendees about Gulf of Maine seafood and some of the great work GMRI is doing to understand and promote sustainable fisheries from the region.
