Chris joined GMRI in March 2008 and is responsible for various tasks around the building including organizing meeting room rentals and maintaining the facilities. She brings with her over 8 years of business experience from managing marine stores throughout the country. She has also successfully managed two personal small businesses, one being a boatbuilding endeavor that resulted in the construction of a modern replica of a 65 Pilot Schooner currently being used as a charter boat.
Chris received a diverse liberal arts education at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History. She has attended numerous business management seminars, spent 5 months learning leadership and outdoor skills traveling through the Rocky Mountains and studied Massage Therapy in Hawaii.
When not at work, Chris can usually be found enjoying some type of outdoor activity. On the water she is an avid sailor, scuba diver and kayaker. In the mountains, she is often hiking, mountain biking or skiing. And regardless of the place she will likely have her camera in hand looking for wildlife to photograph.
