Bethany Benton

Bethany came to GMRI in February of 2021 where she supports the Education team with budgeting and finance for the multiple projects the team is responsible for.

She spent her undergraduate years at the University of Kentucky, where she majored in Finance and then to Walsh College in Michigan for her Masters of Finance. Prior to coming to GMRI she has worked at the University of Michigan Institute of Social Research, managing multiple federal grants and with Save the Children, managing multiple state and federal grants for the Education and Domestic Response Teams.

An avid climber and mountaineer she has set her sights on climbing some of the the seven summits of the world and when she is not planning that you can find her playing softball, running around with her dogs, and rooting for her Kentucky basketball teams.
