Sarah Clifford

My career began in banking after graduating from college with a BS in Business Administration. I eventually went on to earn my CPA license and spent five years in public accounting. I have held several financial management roles in non-profit organizations, the most recent as CFO of an independent school. I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of finance and connecting numbers to a meaningful story or strategy. I currently serve on the Finance Committee of Hearty Roots and previously served on a number of non-profit boards and public school committees. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors whether that is exploring the Maine coast by boat, hiking around trails or skiing at Sugarloaf. I also love spending time with my animals and my amazing family!
