Marin Tarnowski

Marin joined GMRI in April 2024 as the Accounts Payable Clerk. Before joining GMRI, she gained experience in accounting and finance with the Portland Museum of Art. Her earlier studies with The Burren College of Art's Art & Ecology program in Ireland gave her the opportunity to explore the intersection of arts, local communities, and ecological study. Today, she's excited to support GMRI's work, with its interdisciplinary approach to addressing global ocean challenges.

Marin holds a B.A. in Art & Design from the University of Michigan, and a certificate in Conservation Studies from Marist College. Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, doing a little woodworking, and exploring the many hiking trails throughout the New England region.
